Free Meals for Children 18 and Under During School Closures from Sandy Fire

Dear Simi Valley Schools Staff and Families:

Our wonderful Child Nutrition Department will provide free meals for the next two days to any children 18 and under while our schools are closed. They do not need to be students in our schools.

Please read the following information carefully for instructions.

Food will be handed out in a drive-through process at BERYLWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ONLY! Berylwood is located at 2300 Heywood Street. The drive-through will be open from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22. On Thursday, lunch and breakfast for the next day will be provided and on Friday it will be lunch only.

Parents/guardians may pick up meals on behalf of their children. The children need not be present. While walk-ups are allowed, we strongly prefer that you drive-through.

Meals are provided on a first come-first served basis until we run out. Please be patient. If a lot of people show up, it will take time to get through the line, but we will do our best to serve everyone.
