BOARD MEETING VIDEOS & AGENDAS

DURING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

SVUSD School Board Members are not meeting physically in the District Office. They participate in meetings through Zoom (online). For members of the public who would like to watch the live meeting, use this ZOOM LINK to access the Open Session. Please note that when you go into the Zoom session, you may not see a meeting right away because the Board first meets in Closed Session and we cannot predict how long closed session will be. But the Open Session will begin immediately after Closed Session.

Members of the public may participate in a school board meeting by submitting your written comments on a topic (in lieu of in-person public comment) by email to tania.bishop@simivalleyusd.org. In your email, please indicate the agenda title/number in the subject line. The link to the meeting agenda can be found below. (Agendas for Regular School Board Meetings are posted the Friday afternoon before the Tuesday meeting.) To give the District adequate time to provide your comments to the Board of Education, please submit your comments BEFORE 2 P.M. ON THE DAY OF THE MEETING. School Board Members will review these written comments before the Board meeting and the comments will be attached to the minutes. They will not be read at the meeting.

If you would like to speak your comments directly to the School Board Members during the live meeting, you may do so by phone during our Public Comments section of the agenda. To do this, please send your request to speak at the meeting to tania.bishop@simivalleyusd.org BY 2 P.M. THE DAY BEFORE THE MEETING and include a phone number where we can reach you during the meeting. When participating via phone, please remember that you are participating in an official meeting of the District's School Board. Disruptive individuals will be disconnected. All public comments will be limited to 3 minutes.

Please note that School Board Members will not respond directly to comments  submitted in writing, or called into the meeting. They may direct staff to follow up in some manner.
