STUDIOS

The studios at Simi Valley Schools feature two high-end production stages that were built specifically to meet the demands of today's television and film markets. We also offer post-production facilities.

STAGE A
68 Feet by 85 Feet
26-Foot Grid
Hoist Lighting System

With more than 5,700 square feet, Stage A provides plenty of room for multiple sets or a studio audience of up to 250. The walls and roof are constructed with reinforced concrete and heavy insulation, making for a very quiet stage. The laser-leveled floor helps keep camera and pedestal moves smooth. Equipped with a De Sisti motorized hoist system, lights can easily be set, raised or lowered with less labor and time. Computer dimmer controls make lighting cues easy.

The 160-ton A/C units will keep your people comfortable. There is a digital and audio control booth and equipment for live transmissions.

STAGE B
46 Feet by 60 Feet
22-Foot Grid

Stage B is ideal for small to medium-sized productions, including host wraps, product shots, corporate training videos and films. The walls are constructed with reinforced concrete and heavy insulation. The laser-leveled floor helps keep camera and pedestal moves smooth. The lighting grid is set at 22' to give plenty of flexibility for set and lighting styles. There is a digital and audio control booth and equipment for live transmissions.

The new headquarters for the Simi Valley Unified School District is located at 101 West Cochran Street, Simi, Valley, California. Conveniently located about one block west of Madera Road, the facility includes two world-class production studios, which the SVUSD intends to lease to third parties. The SVUSD seeks a qualified individual or entity to manage the studios, including developing rate cards; creating production agreements; marketing and scheduling the facilities; overseeing daily studio operations; and implementing a billing protocol. The contract term will be for one (1) year, beginning in the fall 2018, with possible annual renewal.
